ASO stands for App Store Optimization, it is the process of improving the visibility of your mobile app in an app store such as (iTunes, App Store, Android Play Store, etc) so that your app would rank higher.

The difference between ASO and SEO is that in ASO optimization is done on mobile app store level, and SEO it is done in Search Engine level.
